On 27th July 23, Eminent College of Management & Technology had the privilege of hosting Mr. Sourav Sarkar, the Senior Assistant Vice President of State Bank of India, as the esteemed speaker for a special seminar. The event was aimed at enlightening the final year students of BBA, BCA, BMLT, and BHM departments about the significance of vision and interpersonal skills within the context of interview rooms. With a wealth of experience in the corporate world, Mr. Sarkar shared invaluable insights and tips to empower the students to seize the moment and excel during interviews.



The Power of Vision:
Mr. Sarkar initiated the session by emphasizing the importance of having a clear vision when entering an interview. He encouraged the students to define their long-term career goals and understand how each interview aligns with their aspirations. He explained that a strong vision not only fuels motivation but also helps candidates present themselves confidently as they articulate their career objectives.

4. Practice Mock Interviews: Conduct mock interviews with peers or mentors to refine communication, body language, and responses to common interview questions.

5. Show Enthusiasm and Confidence: Exhibiting enthusiasm for the role and confidence in one's abilities instills trust in the interviewer.

Navigating Challenging Questions:
Facing challenging questions during an interview is inevitable. Mr. Sarkar guided the students on how to handle such situations gracefully. He advised maintaining composure, seeking clarification if needed, and framing thoughtful responses rather than panicking.

The seminar concluded with an interactive Q&A session where students eagerly posed their queries to Mr. Sarkar. Leadership and How to Overcome Failure by Mr Shirish Mudgal

Eminent College of Management & Technology have organised a seminar for all the students of BA and BBA(HM) departments. The seminar was on'Leadership and How to overcome failure' by Mr Shirish Mudgal , Regional Head Market Development , Business Standard with 28 years of Corporate experience.
The session covers the importance of reading business newspaper and communication in corporate world. The session was interactive and students enjoyed it. The program concluded with a Thanks note from our seniour faculty Dr Sourav Majumder and Mr. Amitava Ukil.

E-waste Management programme by Hulladek Recycling Company:

Eminent College of Management and Technology have organised An Awareness  program on  E-waste Management programme by Hulladek Recycling Company, a city based e-waste management firm  in College Campuses for all the students and faculties. Miss Debpritha Halder, senior Marketing Executive have informed and enlightened all the  students of different departments as well as all faculties about the hazards and do's and don'ts  of the electric products wastes, which we generally do not know about what to do. A very interactive and informative session indeed.

National Doctor's Day 2023:

On 21st July, the birth and death anniversary of Great Dr Bidhan Chandra Ray as proposed to be called as National Doctor's Day was celebrated at Eminent College Of Management and Technology. Students from Paramedical departments of our college like BBA(HM), B. OPTOMETRY, and BMLT had participated to pay honor to our Doctor Faculties and all the medical Staffs Technicians and Pharmacists.We had with us Dr.Piyeanku Majumder (MD, Physician), Dr Utsav Das (MD, Physician), our faculty members and as our guest we had Dr. Abhik Banerjee (MD, Physician). The Doctors were honored and felicitated by our Professors, and students presented POWER POINT to Cheer and in praise of all the sacrifices and work done by our medical organizations.
